GLORY

Glory, is a wine that I made for my father. It was Built for him.
It is the First of it’s Kind.
A 100% Estate Bordeaux Blend.

Summer Allocation : Glory - is a word reserved for sunrises and Sunday services. My father loved this word. I heard him sing it many times. He would often say it in repetition.

“Glory, Glory, Glory” : he would say as the sun came up while we were harvesting.

Glory is a foreign currency you heap upon others because you can’t spend it on yourself.

If you seek it for yourself it feels undeniably counterfeit and contrived.

Glory is stacking your rocks in silence every single day. Building something, not for your emendate pleasure, but for the long haul. Something that will endure. Something that is for others. Something that will remain long after you take your final bow. The fractal you create in this world, the lives you change down the line for the better.

Ask my Fathers Grandchildren about who he was, what they think of him, about his ideals… These children will tell you with complete certainty. Each of them have a small compass inside of them showing them the way.

My son said to me “you are really turning into grandpa aren’t you?”

I said “I guess so, is that ok?”

He said “that’s the greatest thing you can become”

You see it in his sons. Each of us Aping the best parts of him, keeping the family knot pulled tight from opposing directions. Making sure Moms feet never touch the ground.

My father was not famous, he was a farmer and a cattleman. Quietly stacking every day. Laying rocks in a river. Changing its course one day at a time.

Not for himself, but for his grandchildren and the generations that will come after them.

Honoring those that have come before him and preparing for those yet to come.

He did it with style, he did it with care, he did it so the tree he planted would provide shade for future generations.

Glory Bound by that overwhelming Creed.

Compass’ pointing True North.

The work continues.

Glory Bound by that overwhelming Creed.

From what I’ve been told, the sun will come up tomorrow, and you should be there to see it.

Glory, Glory, Glory.

Honor + Prepare.

This will be in your summer allocation: it is already SOLD OUT: enjoy it.
