Rarely do we realize history is being made.
My niece Emmery is a unique bird. She makes me smile. She has an artist’s soul. She does not suffer injustice. She is tough as they come. She stands up for what she believes in even if she is the only one standing.

Her spirit is defiant, as all good artists are.
If she has something to say, she says it.
Sometimes with words, sometimes with actions, sometimes with paint.

She is a recruiter; she will ask you to join her cause. She will convince you. I’m a fan of people like this. Motivated Do’ers. Unstoppable forces of nature are needed in this world.

Sitting on the sidelines is easy,
it’s comfortable.

No one really wants to start a parade.
But being the kind of person that leads the charge out front, waving the banner,  yelling, LET’S GO!!!
- those are 1 in a million.

They motivate us; they say the things we wish we could.
They do the things we know we should.
They - Make it happen.
This wine reminds me of her.
Her voice.
Her beautiful spirit.

Cabernet Franc is the Middle Child of wine. Emmery is also the Middle Child.
Sometimes they don’t get the attention they deserve. I think Cabernet Franc And Emmery deserve the spotlight.
The sole attention they should have always had.
I am pleased to put them both right out on Grand Ave.
